At Celestea, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds.
1. Order Cancellation by Customer
1.1 Cancellation Before Shipment
- You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not been shipped
- To cancel, contact us immediately at celesteaofficial@gmail.com or +91 9656107399
- Include your order number and reason for cancellation
- Full refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
1.2 Cancellation After Shipment
- Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped
- You may refuse delivery and request a return (return shipping charges may apply)
- Alternatively, you can initiate a return after receiving the product (see Section 2)
1.3 Cancellation by Celestea
We reserve the right to cancel orders in the following cases:
- Product unavailability or out of stock
- Pricing errors or technical glitches
- Payment verification failure
- Delivery address not serviceable
- Fraudulent or suspicious transactions
- Force majeure events
In such cases, we will notify you via email/SMS and process a full refund within 5-7 business days.
2. Returns
2.1 Return Eligibility
You may return products within 7 days of delivery if:
- Product is defective or damaged during transit
- Wrong product was delivered
- Product does not match the description on the website
- Product is missing parts or accessories
2.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Customized or made-to-order products
- Products with tampered packaging or seals
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper installation
- Products without original packaging, labels, or tags
- Electrical products that have been installed or used
2.3 Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, products must:
- Be in original, unused condition
- Include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and tags
- Not be installed, mounted, or modified
- Be returned within 7 days of delivery
- Include original invoice/order number
2.4 Return Process
- Contact Us: Email celesteaofficial@gmail.com with order number, reason for return, and photos (if damaged)
- Approval: We will review your request within 24-48 hours
- Return Shipping: We will arrange pickup or provide return shipping instructions
- Inspection: Upon receiving the product, we will inspect it for eligibility
- Refund/Exchange: If approved, refund or exchange will be processed
2.5 Return Shipping Costs
- Defective/Damaged Products: We bear the return shipping cost
- Wrong Product Delivered: We bear the return shipping cost
- Change of Mind: Customer bears return shipping cost (if return is accepted)
3. Exchanges
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
- If the replacement product has a different price, the difference will be adjusted
- Exchange products will be shipped once we receive and inspect the returned item
- Exchange shipping charges (if any) will be communicated before processing
4. Refunds
4.1 Refund Processing Time
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned product
- Bank processing time may take an additional 5-7 business days
- You will receive an email confirmation once refund is initiated
4.2 Refund Method
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-7 business days to reflect in statement
- Net Banking: 5-7 business days to credit account
- UPI/Wallets: 3-5 business days to credit wallet
4.3 Refund Amount
- Full product cost will be refunded for defective/damaged/wrong products
- Shipping charges are non-refundable (except in case of our error)
- Return shipping costs (if paid by customer) are non-refundable
- Razorpay payment gateway charges are non-refundable
4.4 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued if:
- Product is not in original condition or packaging
- Product shows signs of use or installation
- Product is damaged due to customer negligence
- Return is incomplete (missing accessories, manuals, etc.)
4.5 Refund Rejection
Refunds will be rejected if:
- Product is returned after the 7-day return window
- Product does not meet return conditions (Section 2.3)
- Product is damaged due to misuse or improper handling
- Product is a non-returnable item (Section 2.2)
5. Damaged or Defective Products
5.1 Reporting Damages
- Inspect the package upon delivery in the presence of the courier
- If damaged, refuse delivery or note it on the delivery receipt
- Report damages within 24 hours of delivery
- Email photos of the damaged product and packaging to celesteaofficial@gmail.com
5.2 Resolution
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund (your choice)
- Return pickup will be arranged at no cost to you
- Replacement will be shipped immediately after inspection
6. Warranty Claims
- LED Products: 5-year warranty from date of purchase
- Non-LED Products: 2-year warranty from date of purchase
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects only
- Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, or external damage
- To claim warranty, contact us with invoice and product details
- Warranty service may include repair, replacement, or refund (at our discretion)
7. Reward Points Refunds
- If you used reward points during purchase, points will be refunded to your account upon return
- Refunded points will be valid for 1 year from refund date
- If your account is deleted, unredeemed points will be forfeited
